Children’s Books and the CPSIA
This is a follow up on our other posts about the CPSIA. Effective February 10, 2009 the CPSIA law came into effect and there have been many blog posts and news articles written about it. We have found the posts at Overlawyered to be very imformative. You can also find information about the CPSIA at their website.
On February 10, 2009 we have added a Shipping Restriction for our Childrens Books, as follows: Effective February 10, 2009 Children’s Books will no longer be shipped to the USA. This change is being made because of the United States Consumer Product Safety Act (CPSIA). Countries and Territories included in the USA Region:
* American Samoa
* Guam
* Marshall Islands
* Micronesia, Federated States of
* Northern Mariana Islands
* Palau
* Puerto Rico
* United States of America
* United States Outlying Minor Islands
* Virgin Islands (US)
We have added “SHIPPING NOT AVAILABLE TO THE USA” to the description of the books effected by this shipping restriction.
