Finally Spring has arrived!

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

Spring has been slow in coming here in Pangman, Saskatchewan. We even had snow the first week of May.  The last few days it has been very sunny and warm.  We have started to think about planting some flowers and staining the deck.

If you are looking for books on flowers or gardens, be sure to check our homepage or browse by subject Gardening.

We are looking forward to the Farmer’s Market which starts on June 19th this year in Pangman. If you are in the area you may wish to check out our table. We have many books to clear out and they will be priced to go.

Farmer’s Market in Pangman, Saskatchewan

Monday, August 10th, 2009

There is a Farmer’s Market here in Pangman, Saskatchewan on Saturday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. We have had a table at the Farmer’s Market with a selection of our used books and some of the crafts that I make (knitted dish cloths and baby blankets) as well as some children’s puzzles.

Below is a photo of the Farmer’s Market held on July 11, 2009.

The above photo appeared in “The Weyburn and Area Booster” paper on July 25, 2009. My husband, Phil and I are at the first table in the photo.

At the Farmer’s Market this past Saturday, August 8, 2009, there was a pancake breakfast. The Honourable Dustin Duncan, Minister of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sports of Saskatchewan attended the Pancake Breakfast and the Farmer’s Market.  Phil and I visited with him at the breakfast and later he came over and purchased a book from our table.

I hope everyone is having a great summer.
